What is a Pocket WiFi?
A Pocket WiFi is a small, portable device that combines a modem and router, providing a secure, fast and reliable internet connection. You can connect up to 3 compatible devices and save money on data roaming fees while staying connected during your stay in Korea.
How many devices can I connect?
You can connect up to 3 devices to a single Pocket WiFi. However, please note that the more devices you connect, the slower the connection speed may be.
How long does the battery last?
The battery life of a Pocket WiFi can range from 9.3 to 16 hours, depending on the type of device. You can check the specific battery life of your device model here.
What is the download / upload speed of a Pocket WiFi?
The maximum download/upload speed is 20Mbps. Please note that speed may vary depending on the usage environment.
Can I request to have the Pocket WiFi delivered to my hotel?
Unfortunately, we do not offer delivery services to hotels or accommodations.
You can only pick up and return your Pocket WiFi at designated locations as follows:
– Incheon Intl. Airport Terminal 1
– Incheon Intl. Airport Terminal 2
– Gimpo Intl. Airport
– Gimhae Airport
– Busan Harbor
Booking
How can I cancel my reservation?
You can cancel your reservation and receive a full refund up until a day before the pick-up date, based on Korean Standard Time. If it is before the pick-up date, please contact us at [email protected]. If it is after the pick-up date, cancellation is not permitted.
Can I change my reservation?
Yes, you can change your reservation by contacting us at least a day before the pick-up date. After the pick-up date, changes are not permitted.
What is the policy regarding deposits for pocket WiFi rentals?
There is no deposit required. However, you will need to register your credit card information at the counter upon pick-up. If any items are lost or damaged, charges will apply as follows:
– Pocket WiFi Device: KRW 150,000 – 200,000 (Differ by device type)
– Pouch: KRW 10,000
– Battery: KRW 31,000
– USB Cable & Charging Adapter: KRW 10,000
What is the minimum length of reservation?
The minimum length of the reservation is 1 day.
Payment
Can I make a payment without a PayPal account?
Yes, you can make payments even if you don’t have a PayPal account. However, please note that in some countries PayPal has eliminated the “Pay without an account” option, so you might need to create an account to make a payment.
Do you accept any other forms of payment besides PayPal?
No, currently we only accept payments through PayPal. However, you can use your credit or debit card to make the payment without creating a PayPal account.
Pick up & Return
Where do I pick up and return the Pocket WiFi?
You can pick up and return the Pocket WiFi at the designated locations listed below. You can choose the location that’s most convenient for you when making your reservation.

– Gimpo Intl. Airport
– Gimhae Intl. Airport
– Busan Harbor
What is required when I collect the package at the airport?
Please present your voucher to the staff member. You will also need your passport to verify your identity and a credit card in your name to register your payment information.
What happens if I don’t return the device?
If the device is not returned, you will be charged a penalty fee for the loss, which will be charged to the credit card you registered with us. Please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible if you are unable to return the device on time.
Fair Usage Policy
What is fair usage?
Fair usage policy is a standard set by the mobile network industry to manage mobile traffic and protect users from excessive usage. The policy is designed to restrict usage, limit speed, or take other measures to manage data traffic. Please avoid excessive data usage such as downloading large amounts of data, streaming movies, playing online games, etc.
If you continue to use excessive amounts of data, Pocket WiFi Korea will not be responsible for any problems accessing the internet or any restrictions placed by the mobile network operators. You will be responsible for any extra fees that might be applied by the local mobile network operators if you continue to use excessive data.
