seoul top 100 souvenir

100 souvenir items symbolizing the city best were selected during the 1st Representative Seoul Tourism Souvenir Contest from June 10 to September 6, 2013. The souvenir contest was held by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in order to develop and offer excellent souvenirs for domestic and foreign tourists.

The award-winning souvenirs were both symbolic and practical. These include the “Seoul Orgel,” an Arirang melody music box shaped like the Seoul City Hall building, the “Mother-of-Pearl Yutnori,” a Korean board game set with Seoul’s tourist attractions inlaid with mother of pearl, the “Seoul Mini Magnet Set,” and the “Mother-of-Pearl Phone Case.”

The souvenirs will be awarded the certification mark of Seoul and placed on sale in souvenir shops located at places frequented by tourists such as Cheongwadae Sarangchae, Myeong-dong TIC, the Museum Shop at the Seoul Museum of History, and online shopping malls.
